About

Jeff Gray is an visual artist, teacher, musician, and interface designer exploring the intersection between human experience/memory with the everyday tangible interaction of objects, artifacts and interfaces. To this end, Jeff builds visual experiences that extend the meaning of data and media, creates physical environments that enable tactile interaction with the content, as well as musical interfaces (both physical objects and software-based sound interfaces) that seek to challenge the division between the performer and the audience.  Jeff has been an instructor at NYU’s ITP program, Hunter College and Parsons New School of Design here in New York and can be seen chasing ideas around in Brooklyn.
