Powerplay/Kidtropolis
In production through Moey Inc., Kidtropolis and Powerplay are two new exhibits at the Children’s Museum of Houston. Powerplay provides a host of interactives that get kids to excercise and keep track of various aspects of their exersion. By measuring heartrate and other body metrics, kids are able to store and take home their measurements, and add to them as they do things outside the museum.

This monumental, three-story installation lets you leap up and down different levels as you discover new ways to get active! Take it to the next level tracking your heart rate and strength, rating your experience, and comparing your performance like a real fitness athlete!
Kidtropolis gives kids a view into various aspects of a real city. Banks, business centers, a news studio, city hall, diner and market all help give kids a way to interact with city-life.
Kidtropolis, USA marks a brand new spot on the map as a real-life kid metropolis complete with a skyline, city government, occupations and the systems that make a city work. It’s where kids choose to be whatever they want to be!
